David Wiese is an all-rounder who bats in the middle-order and bowls right-arm medium pace. He made his first-class debut for Easterns against the Northerns in 2005. His most notable performance came in 2008 playing for South Africa Academy where he chipped in with a dexterous performance of 138 and 3 wickets to power his team to a 27-run victory over the Bangladesh Cricket Board Academy at the LC de Villiers Oval in Pretoria. Wiese also plies his trade for the Titans and was added to their T20 squad ahead of the 2012 Champions League T20.
